A developer named Francois Beaufor has released a leaked video of Google’s Chrome OS, customized for use on tablets.

Google’s Chrome OS is designed only for netbooks as a lightweight operating system that must always be connected to the internet. Google already has Android Honeycomb 3.2 which is used on current smartphones and will soon release Android Ice Cream Sandwich which is supposed to be not only for smartphones but tablets, computers and any other device running Android, will soon have Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Looking at the new leaked video, Google may also be thinking of a ported version of Chrome OS for tablets. Which means if your running Google Chrome OS on your tablet you might have to be running an internet connection at all times, in order to use the tablet.
